PROYECTO: DCPParquitectos (Pablo Pérez Palacios, Alfonso de  la Concha Rojas)

El proyecto de Antonio Solá es un edificio de departamentos ubicado en la colonia Condesa, en la Ciudad de México en un terreno de dimensiones rectangulares con 9 mts de frente por 27 mts de fondo y  se encuentra en una calle carente de vegetación.

Se buscó establecer una relación urbana y visual con la naturaleza en un sitio donde esta relación es cada vez menor, generando un vínculo y ligando las áreas verdes existentes en el contexto urbano.

El proyecto se resolvió haciendo que la fachada quedara cubierta con vegetación creando una relación directa entre edificio – naturaleza.

Esta vegetación dota de cualidades espaciales muy particulares tanto desde el ámbito urbano como desde el interior del edificio. Así mismo funciona como un filtro para la luz  ya que la fachada tiene orientación poniente y el sol le pega durante la tarde. Esta cortina de vegetación sirve también para darles mayor privacidad a los departamentos.

Todo el edificio queda abierto a un patio al sur logrando que éste quede contenido por lo verde, ya que la vegetación de la fachada lo rodea y se integra al patio.

Antonio Solá is an apartment building located in Condesa, in Mexico City. The plot is rectangular and its dimensions are 9 x 27 m. The street where it is located has very scarce vegetation.

We sought to establish an urban and visual relation with nature, generating a bond and connecting the existing green areas of the urban context.

The project was solved creating a façade that will be completely covered with vegetation, creating a direct link between building and nature.

This vegetation brings very particular spatial qualities from the exterior as well as the interior of the building. At the same time, it works as a filter for light since the plot is oriented to the west and the sun enters during the afternoon. This curtain of vegetation was also created to give more privacy to the apartments. 

All the building is open towards a patio oriented south. This patio is contained by the green, since the vegetation from the façade surrounds it and integrates to it.
