Panorámica es una torre de viviendas desarrollada en veinte niveles ubicada en Juriquilla, un suburbio de la ciudad colonial de Querétaro.

El proyecto busca la reinterpretación de la vida en una casa colonial pero a una mayor escala, con el fin de crear un espacio exterior contenido el cual normalmente no existe en las tipologías de edificios verticales.

Se concibe el proyecto como la reinterpretación del patio colonial típico de la ciudad donde no sólo el patio juega un papel importante sino también el espacio ambulatorio alrededor del mismo.

Se utilizaron los elementos que conforman el patio y se acomodaron en condición vertical para crear la torre, dándole a ésta ligereza y movimiento así como vistas privilegiadas a todos los departamentos, creando al mismo tiempo un patio interior a una escala mayor que se convierte en una gran área libre para todas las viviendas.

La condición vertical del patio da un espacio central en torno al cual giran todas las actividades y áreas comunes.

Cada bloque que conforma el patio consta de cinco niveles y todos los departamentos tienen vistas hacia el interior y exterior del patio central dándole así la posibilidad de luz y ventilación natural en todos los espacios de la vivienda.

Esta formación en vertical da pie a que se formen varias azoteas que funcionan como espacios verdes habitables.

Los departamentos cambian dependiendo de su ubicación pero los núcleos de circulación son siempre los mismos y están  ubicados en las intersecciones de los cuatro bloques.

Panoramica is a residential tower developed in twenty levels located in a suburb outside the colonial city of Queretaro.

The project seeks to respond to these historical conditions in a contemporary way using the typology of the patio as a reference.

The project was conceived as the reinterpretation of the typical colonial patio of the city where the patio is not the only one playing an important role but also the ambulatory space around it.

We used the elements that conform the patio and  rearranged them in a vertical condition in order to create the tower, giving lightness and movement to it as well as privileged views to all the apartments.

At the same time we created an interior patio in a bigger scale that becomes a great open area for the apartments.

The vertical condition of the patio creates a central space where all the activities and common areas appear around it.

Each block that conforms the patio has five levels and all the apartments have views to both sides; to the interior patio and to the exterior, providing natural light and ventilation to all the spaces in the apartments.

The vertical formation of the patio gives the tower a series of terraces that function as open green space.

The apartments change according to their location but the vertical circulations remain in the same place and are located in the intersection of the different apartment blocks.
